Awake Without You

We were thirteen when we found eachother.
You made me smile like no one else could.
You were my happily ever after.
I loved you more than anyone else would.

It was not temporary love for me.
I was set on you for my forever.
It was a future i hoped you could see.
Everyone told me you were my keeper.

I made a mistake and lost you for good.
I wish I could go back and hold you tight.
I still fight for you, like you knew i would.
I'll wait for the moment we reunite.

Kiss me awake from my horrid dreaming.
I need you back, do you hear me screaming?
