The smell of autumn’s leaves fill the air
Friday night lights shine down with their encouraging faces
Giving hope, pumping adrenaline through the brave football players
They’ll win the game tonight
Music crescendos fill the crisp air
Audiences crowd the seats to hear beautiful songs
Students smile with joy, they’re making melodies
Music is all we need
Actors and actresses play tonight
In the home they have come so easily to know as theirs
Seats full and set done, costumes and makeup on, their hearts fill the stage
Magic is made tonight
Softballs, volleyballs soaring through air
Quickly sliding across the ground to catch or spike the ball
Their jerseys askew and their hearts racing fast they make their next move
The crowd stands to cheer victory
