Authority

Mark 1:22

22 The people there were amazed by his teaching,

because he taught them like one who had authority,

not like the experts in the law.

Christ taught with authority … He had a lot to say.

He explained true reality … not an opinion.

He explained solidarity … and that all should pay

rights divided equally … in the earthly dominion.

We teach very often … but run out of ideas

so we complete our thoughts … adding our own opinion.

We very often scoff … at the Spirit’s pleas

to follow the truth that brings us to ... our final destination.

If the Spirit teaches … His words will be like Christ’s.

There is no soft soaping … but reality will surface.

Little cream and peaches … for everybody’s rights

or rope-a-doping … to escape the true purpose.

Is there a need for discussion ... should every thought be searched?

Is it always one man’s domain … to understand “all” truth?

What then the repercussion … if teaching is not purged

from the flesh and its games … with little else to prove?
