The Art Never Mastered

Dear procrastination,

I just think its funny how everytime I want to do something, I can’t

Its like I need some motivation, perhaps some cheerleaders to scream a chant

I take out all my notes, get ready to study, then go on twitter

I let my fingers scroll, check the clock, and now im bitter

I hate my procrastination, I want to escape and be free

I wasted all this time, but who can I blame other than me?

I have the power to change it all, I just have to take action

Once I get started I’ll be amazed at what happens

I’ll see progress getting done, and tasks being complete

But I’ll see it when I believe it, because I know talk is cheap

Sincerely,

Malachi Perez
