Appreciation

Jonah 2:7 New King James Version (NKJV)“When my soul fainted within me,
I remembered the Lord;
And my prayer went up to You,
Into Your Holy Temple.
 Appreciation

How to fill the longings … how to sense the will

of others all around us … and their wants to fill?

Is it to us given … to understand the heart

to read it and to feel it … before we depart?

Do we  understand even … ourselves to the core

or just below the surface … for we don't want no more?

And then to think of others … of knowing them too well?

Misconceptions start ruling then and we very well can tell.

I guess when some-one helps us and gets us out of a bind.

He'll turn into a hero … in thought fairly close to a mime.

Emotions seek satisfaction and gratitude inside.

Who knows where appreciation in reality abides?
