Anxiety is a bully that lives in your head

Anxiety is a bully that lives in your head

I care for him
feed him
let him lead the way

He hurts me
hides me
leads me astray

Making things the way the should
for the sake of outwardly approval
and order

He hurts me
hides me
steals my life

buries it under a false sense of safety.
