Anxiety

In one thousand feet you will reach your destination.

Thump! Thump! Thump!

Beating faster and faster, air has escaped but doesn't return.

It clenches its fist into my chest.

I repeated to myself:

You are going to be okay. There is nothing to worry about.

You see these people everyday. They're your friends.

Breath in... and out...

Filling my lungs with deep breaths and slowing releasing...

Thump! Thump. thump.

The tempo of the racing rhytm begins to ritard.

You have safely made it to your destination.
