Anxiety

Thu, 02/01/2018 - 11:06 -- Sea.

Dear anxiety,

Yesterday I saw an old friend at the mall but I didn’t say hello because of you.

We used to be good friends but ever since I moved it hasn’t been the same. It was because of you.

Today I had school but I stayed in bed after hitting snooze three times because of you.

I was well prepared for my test but the acne on my face scared me back to bed.

It was because of you.

Tomorrow I have softball practice but I think I’m going to skip it because of you.

I’m excited about the season starting but I told myself I’m not as good as the other girls.

It was because of you.

In six months I start college but I might not attend because of you.

I can’t stand the thought of being away from home and having to do things on my own.

It’s because of you.

Today I gave up on my dreams because I know I can’t achieve them if I’m with you.

And it’s all your fault.

Sincerely,

Me
