Anxiety

The ripples leave

spots across the water

disrupting

the flow of sequence.

Jags start to bloom

and the water sprays

farther

making it harder to

ever catch a breath.

And as the stone drops,

tumbling across the water

until a sudden stop,

the water moans, echoing

my fearful tones of

descent.

This poem is about:
Me
