Another's Spine

You never know what you will find,

when peaking at someone’s spine.

The fractures and the aches they never show may be seen.

You may see why they always grieve, or why they never change face.

The strongest back could either have the most tortured spine, or the straightest.

It all really depends on the will of individual,

And how much they can push before they realize that their spine has broken.

You never know what you will find,

when peaking at someone’s spine.

I could never look directly at mine.

Although I think we’re all better off without seeing our bones exposed.

After all It’s not healthy for it to be seen outside our skin.

We would most likely feel more vulnerable,

and act more careful if our bones were always in our face,

breaking, and being pushed out of place,

when we know damn well they’re not supposed to….

be twisting that much.

That’s why it’s better not to know,

because if we knew how broken we really were in the inside then we may never take risks.

You never know what you will find,

when peaking at someone’s spine.

The twist and the curves may be ugly,

but on the outside it may appear to be the most beautiful fucking thing you could ever see.

...That skin.

That’s why beauty is sin,

because there is good ugly and bad ugly, whereas the individual has a great personality or one to match their cover.

But beauty no matter what is always seen as a win,

Because personality may be shit, but that body makes up for it.

And as long as you’re able play to get a lay, they’re perfectly okay.

Even if they’re spineless.

You never know what you will find,

when peaking at someone’s spine.

You may find someone with the same spine.

It could even be someone you despise.

Wouldn’t that be a surprise?

That the person you despise is made up of the same vertebra.

I once met someone with the same spine as mine.

Sometimes we would have a great time,

but once our happiness reached it’s prime,

we hated and ripped each other’s flesh until

the visible fibers of our bodies were torn to the side, and only bone remained.

Upon discovering that the person I despised was me,

my ligaments dispersed into nothing,

and I finally fell apart.

You never know what you will find,

when peaking at someone’s spine.

Mine, is in the closet with the rest of my bones

waiting to be buried.
