Another Day

Sat, 06/15/2019 - 07:32 -- 1004_sp

Maybe tomorrow, they will finally see meBut it’s just like yesterday, another day. Crossing the days until I reach May,I fall into endless sleep and unreal dreams.Stray today, stay away, to myself I say. I wake up to the sky with clouds of greyAnd hopeful again, I wish to the hidden sun,But it’s just like yesterday, another day. Courage, something for I wish and pray,To tell them I am here, nowhere really.Stray today, stay away, to myself I say. It starts getting brighter like an ombré,And maybe it will get better again,But it’s like yesterday, another day. I look at the withered flower bouquetAnd the never ending cycle starts again.Stray today, stay away, to myself I say.But it's like yesterday, another day.
