Anne Frank
Ecclesiastes 9:5 5 For the living know that they will die;
But the dead know nothing,
And they have no more reward,
For the memory of them is forgotten. Really?
Anne Frank
Growing up with common thoughts
and write these down on paper
is that what Anne is all about,
life’s ordinary vapor?
She understood the difference
between inner and deeper self
This is most what most folks will never find
as they live their surface’s outer-shelf
What does it take to discover self
the mysteries of your being?
Does it take time … a place … a dream
to find the deeper meaning?
Are we two in one … or three apart?
The body, soul and spirit
We know where the first comes from,
but the others … did we inherit?
They have not much in common.
Like water and oil don’t mix
One searches for the undiscovered
and the other for a quick fix
One searches for admiration
and to be known for good
The other just for serving
to the best he should
You know one is a taker
who wants to dominate
He really seems to love himself
as attention, he creates
The other is so quiet and shy
almost no one gets to know him
unless words stumble through his heart
to be read only by The King
It is easy to talk about the two,
but what about the third one?
The one who is totally ignored
Unknown to most, “the hurt one”
The one who understands the way of life
The one who can give purpose
Why does the one, who loves himself,
declares this one unworthy
He looked him up in darkness
Deep in his own heart
Thinking he can rule the world
Believing he is smart
Some day the heart will turn inside out
and then the one locked up for life
will be turned loose and exposed to life
while the first will slowly die.
