Angel With a Shotgun.

You see the girl in the dark corner

All alone

Do you see how that darkness shrouds her, grasping and taking a hold of her.

Did the thought ever cross your mind

To see if she was okay.

The girl was wearing long sleeves

You thought she was cold

The girl was quite thin

You thought she worked out

The girl was wearing bracelets

You thought it was a trend

But did you ask her,

Are you okay?

The girl has been waiting,

Waiting for a while now

For someone to ask her

That one question

Are you okay?

Can that someone be

You

Or does she have to be

An angel with a shotgun
