An Angel

If I had an angel,

 it would be you.

You fly to me

when I need your rescue.

The sky was brightly blue

and on your wings you flew.

I’m not very sure how you knew

that the only thing I needed was you.

Smiles and sugary kisses you blew,

while my love for you steadily grew.

This idea of love is somewhat new,

and the blanket of safety, too.

As the cows would moo

 and the doves would poo,

on your wings you still flew.

And if I tried to stop this love,

absolutely nothing would do.

Because if I had an angel,

 it would certainly be you.

nice rhyming...ok I laughed little at the cows and doves part
