And It Honestly Broke My Heart

Reading what you said

Watching what you post

It’s a mask, a cover up

You’re only honest with some

The public doesn’t know you

I can see through the skin

The flesh and the bones

You’re afraid you’ve been broken

You’ve been damaged to no end

You no longer fear the future or the unknown

It’s the moment

Moments of the past and thoughts of the past

Reasons that have hurt you

You don’t live for yourself

But you have a reason to die

You live to die now

I just cry now

I wished I’d come crying, screaming, putting up a fight

You said that you were broken and

It honestly broke my heart
