Amor

Amor, you are my love.
Babbled like a baby when we first met.
Couldn't keep my emotions in,
Didn't want to lose you as a friend just yet

Each day passed by one by one.
Facing you as friends was just so tough.
Gaining stronger feelings day by day.
Hand holding, hugs, but no other stuff.

I couldn't resist my emotions any longer;
Jumping for a chance to tell you my sentiments were stronger.
“Keeper” is what you were known as,
Love was what I wish we had.

My thoughts were reciprocated to my excitement.
New relationship brightened our future days together.
Our strong feelings of like turned into love,
Passing all my hopes, expectations, and dreams above.

Quarrels were present just like any other couple.
Reasons behind it unknown to our minds.
Still we remained united and strong;
Together and loving with the squabbles left behind.

Unaffected by outside influences.
Valuable memories attained every moment in your care.
Waddling through life hand in hand.
Xanthic colored flowers every where.

Your ring you bought me on my finger.
Zesty feelings of nervousness still linger.
