How can one’s enemy be another’s
Savior, neighbors discriminated,
a brother dictated to fight a brother,
A whole existence annihilated?

People show pride in the homes they have built,
Yet tear down others without any strife.
Once fearless warriors fall vanquished with guilt,
Now haunted by the cries of unborn life.

Let’s give Of Mice and Men a second try
To those who are indistinguishable
From us; looking through their now weeping eyes,
Realize that world peace is not a fable.

Attempt to open your minds, hearts, and doors
To giving fraternity a chance once more.
