The American Teen Dream

The week just began yet all I'm looking forward to is the weekend

Education? we don't take that seriously

all we care about is making money

trying to act cool replicating what all these celebrities do

why not make your own style from your own mind

instead of replicating that Kim K type of mood

as I look around and see these American teen dreams

I realize I don't want these things

I want a life I love with a person I love

How you suppose to grow old with a celebrity?

when you die you don't get to bring the bling with you

all you get is your soul that meets the man who created you

I have dreams that are different from these American teens

a life full of love and happiness will satisfy me
