American Beauty

2, 4, 6, 8, 10, me and my generation,

We talk about diamonds, talk about cars,

forgot about any aspiration.

Because we're young, we're wild, we're free.

We're living in a fantasy, we're moving towards insanity.

We're the rebels in a war and we're fighting reality.

Our home is the internet, we live in a movie.

We ride, we love, we die, that's our god given duty.

Fantasy is reality now that's real American beauty.

We are trees and we are dying.

We are the seas and our youth is drying.

We are a candle shinning so bright.

But our burning flame only lasted a night.

We're all focused on beauty, a generation defined.

A pretty, young thing can make us go blind.

Our home is the internet, we live in a movie.

We ride, we love, we die, that's our god given duty.

Fantasy is reality now that's real American beauty.

We go out , we rock that leather and lace.

We get high, destroy our minds and don't leave a trace.

We're the example sex, drugs and rock and roll,

but we only hear silence when that life takes it's toll.

The poets go out, drink themselves dead.

The thinkers do acid, their minds they will shred.

Our home is the internet, we live in a movie.

We ride, we love, we die, that's our god given duty.

Fantasy is reality now that's real American beauty.
