America The Not So Great

America, a country built on the blood and bones of those who never got to see the “Liberty and Justice for All”

“Make America Great Again” They say, but did they forget about the slavery, Japanese Internment Camps, and the segregation?

Did they forget every group that was stepped on to get this country to where it is today?

Every time period is full of hate towards a diverse group.

But why?

With a country that was built on the backs of immigrants, why try so hard to get rid of them?

“Go back to your country”

“This is America Speak English”

To those who truly believe that America is great to this day,

Let me ask you this,

Do you not watch the news, it's history repeating itself

The mistreatment of people of color

People have become familiarized with the current events

It's become normal for one to be stopped, searched, and shot repeatedly

America is not great but it has the potential to be so.
