Amber

Many have succeeded, yet all have failed
You are a winner; you have prevailed
Left many tinders in a teary trail
You scaled the mountains without ail

I wish I may, I wish I might
Your eyes are stars that shine so bright
Lips that flutter like wings, ready for flight
A pleasure to have you in my sight

The raven's wings are pale to your hair
It sweeps your shoulders without a care
Framing your face, dancing midair
Awkward, curly, freckled flair

How do you spread such bliss?
No arrow of yours has missed
Should I request a kiss?
My amiable amethyst

Many have tried, they have succeeded
I looked to the stars, to them I have pleaded
And to my surprise, they have conceded
You were all that I ever needed
