Am I really free?

Am I truly free?

You tell me I have freedom of speech,

but yet I'm not allowed to preach my sincere beliefs?

You tell me I have freedom of press,

but yet you monitor the words I profess?

You tell me I have freedom of religion and beliefs,

but yet I can not express who I feel is my chief?

You tell me I have freedom to assemble,

but yet I can not do so without fear and I am left to tremble?

Well I am here to say, today I will take back these rights.

You can not defeat my innocent fight.

You take me as weak because I am young,

but listen to me...I will not hold my tongue.

I will use my first amendment,

and I will not take into concern your judgment.

I have a right to say whether I believe in the traditional or the new.

I will be part of the few.

Whether I am for gay marriage or not,

You can not turn me into a robot.

I will not conform to you,

but yet my opinion I will brew.

I take back my first amendment today,

and you will no longer tell me what to say.
