1 Corinthians 13:4-8 4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked,  thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never fails.  Depend

 

Why think about the things that God has well in hand?

We know He rules and overrules to protect “His Bride”.

There is no way that He will let go of the things that are His

and that should be good enough for me to hunger right.

 

It is in His Church I’m visiting ... although directed by men

At times it lives God’s love ... with no doubt about its clan.

But oft He shows patience ... and tolerate sinfulness in our midst

as we all seem to have traces of it…with half-truth in demand.

 

Some of the religious leaders ... are covering hearts of stone

with sugared covered frosting ... to make folks chew it alone.

It really has good flavor ... and most swallow it with a smile

until their stomach starts hurting ... as they’re being cloned.

 

Cemented in their belly now ... are sand, guile, and gravel

Embracing death completely ... a spiritual insaneness’ level

They swallow more for relief ... until it runs out of their ears

Their eyes and ears now closed ... no awareness of the gavel.  

 

To live, love and marvel ... seem to have disappeared long ago.

Replaced by a hardening substance ... “protecting” whatever goals.

It’s hard to see the difference ... they observe just everyone else

until in time discovered silence ... showing off their poor lost souls.
