Alone

Thu, 08/29/2013 - 10:00 -- Fayann

Many of us feel alone at home.

We think no one understands

And our friends are never there.

But that’s not Alone.

You’re Alone when you no longer have a home.

You’re Alone when you are taken from your friends.

You’re Alone when your life is no longer yours.

You think you’re Alone when you are bored and don’t know what to do.

But you are wrong.

You’re Alone when everyone you know is gone.

You’re Alone when there’s no one but you.

You’re Alone when you cry yourself to sleep because there’s nothing left.

But you’re only Alone for a little while.

You’ll meet new people and stop looking.

You’ll find a new home and feel like you belong.

You’ll find a new family and feel love again.

Maybe after you move on,

You might find those from your past.

And when you look back on your life,

You’ll find you were never really Alone.
