Of all the Times, You taught me Everything

Of all the times spent in conversation about life, philosophy, and art,

Of all the times spent sitting in a silent room as our voices echoed off the walls,

as we gently spoke poetry while sprawled out on the floor,

Of all the times spent wandering down an empty street, gazing up at the starry sky and

silently walking side-by-side,

Of all the times spent on the phone, yearning to see your face but just ecstatic that I could hear your voice,

Of all the times spent crying, of watching you cry and of trying to soothe each other,

Of all the times spent laughing and simply enjoying the moments with one another,

Of all the times... every time you taught me something. I learned something new about you,

about life, love, meaning, and happiness... about myself.

Every moment spent with you, I learned something extraordinary...simply by just being with you.

You taught me so much in but a mere few days that we got to spend together,

and for that, I am forever grateful.

I can never thank you enough for all the times you spent with me.
