All is Lost

Bone crackles

Spirits lift

When the flame drifts

All is lost

No silent tears

No silent fears

When the smoke clears

All is lost

The Earth keeps screaming

As it circles the sun

The ground is burning

All is lost

Who will save us?

When the time comes

When the fire rages

And all is lost

Water, please

Soothe the soil

Calm the flame

Or all is lost

Ashes to ashes

Dust to dust

When the wind blows

All is lost
