All I Need

I don't need lots of money.

I don't need a handsome dude.

And only physically is it necessary

To have water, oxygen, and food.

What I need surpasses

Earthly wants and physical things.

It is my God, my faith in Him

That lifts me up on wings.

I need Him on an island,

In a city, in the woods.

His power surpasses my other needs,

Turns my "I wish" into "I could."

I could say something more witty

About my iPhone or laptop

But at the end of the day

Without my God my life would be a flop.

He brought me life and paid my debt

Of course I need Him more!

Without Him, there is no amount of money

That would keep me from being poor.
