All around her

Mon, 02/01/2016 - 13:52 -- Cheri19

All around her,
everything she's ever touched,
everyone she's ever met,
has faded to the black.

All around her,
everything she's ever wanted,
everyone she's ever loved,
has died.

All around her,
everywhere she went,
everyone who followed,
were eventually taken by her demons.

All around her,
every life she thought were meaningful,
every little thing she thought were her hope,
died in flames.

All around her,
she thought she met kind people,
but their hearts given up on the light,
and her despair led to their deaths.

All around her,
those she met,
the things she wanted,
her darkling would not allow.

All around her,
everyone she met,
everything she wanted,
she knew she couldn't have them.

All around her,
only her demons danced as ashes fell like snow,
And her dreams fell down to a hole,
but her tears fell down like a stream.
