Alive

Witness the beauty before you,
The beauty that is beyond our abnormalities and oddities.
Hidden behind the bodies we deem mistaken and unfit
are souls;
Wholly ready to fulfill
The duty to find our infinite truth,
Even if it is sharpened or blurred.
A purpose sleeps within us,
But who told you that it was to be perfect?
We are souls and bodies,
We are beings;
Follies ridden and riddled among them.
We are alive,
More than just existence waiting to extinct.

It's funny that death remains unlearned,
But promised,
And that we have to learn how to live
Because the present can escape within an exhale of these words.
Learn to treat time like a heaven,
Even when yesterday was a regret.
The you that sits here today is the best one born from the bones you refused to let go into the closet.
You are alive.

This planet belongs to life
And the only way for their to be life is for there to be love.
Although not shining above,
It still sweeps the land, kissing the skin.
Somewhere,
There is a marriage, between love and love.
Somewhere,
Little children and their laughter fill the bellies of the forgotten smiles.
Somewhere,
There is someone exclaiming "I love myself!"
Everywhere,
There is someone
Who is alive.
And thats's a miracle.
