Alcohol

I take another sip

My thoughts start to fog

It's like I'm traveling through an endless bog

Yet it's peaceful

It's as if no one can harm me

The alcohol has charmed me

Lulled me into false security

As it slowly makes my innards weak

I thought that it would take my problems away

I thought no more hate could be spewed

My life was great

Or so I thought

Then I met my fate

From drinking alcohol
