The Before & After

Before,

Self-hate had abruptly manifested upon my ego

constantly feeding upon the fear  that human beings other than myself, would frame me as ugly

this fear had first appeared within my soul

this fear mended throughout my warm body

like heroine shooting up into a bloodstream

yet this fear also snuck inside my brain

like a stroke, beginning at a blocked artery

Then at one point, I decided to overcome that fear, by finally loving myself which deliberately builded my entire strength

which then I can peacefully reiterate; the strength had begun within my heart

alike to this remarkable muscle capable of causing heartbreak, it could not physically but mentally exist.

the unconditional damage my past fear had caused for me was rewarding

it had not only helped digest my weaknesses

but helped encompass my vulnerability throughout my entire existence

and after all of this,

I have not only built self-love but learned to not resent oneself for experiencing

fear
