Acting is the Hardest Job in the World

Acting isn’t just fun and memorizing lines;

It’s a complicated process that requires long hours,

Impeccable technique,

And good work ethic.

Acting gives me a sense of purpose;

It lets me express different sides of myself.

It let me take unimaginable risks;

To be honest about anything and everything,

And to fight when it would be easier to just quit and lie down.

I get courage from my work.

Immersing myself into an imaginary

Circumstance somehow helps me conquer fear.

One piece,

One moment,

Can affect not only me

But everyone involved,

Including the audience.

There isn’t one thing that has that type of impact.

Acting is the only thing that has stood the test of time.

I am the closest to my soul

When I am actively contributing to creation,

When I use the talents given to me

To affect the lives of others.
