If love is fleeting
Then it's sleeting.
You said you hate me
Now you date me.

You get me riled up,
When the bills are piled up.
I'm already stressed,
I can't deal with that mess.

You want to do things
Like people with rings,
But there's so much more
To marriage than that.

Marriage is love
And caring and sharing.
Marriage is much more than rings.
It's dishes, laundry, bills and things.

The kids who rob
You of your sleep
Your key fob
They keep.
