“Who Can Listen to My Cries? Who Can Listen to the Cry of My Pain?”

The world is full of suffering,
cries of mercy

Children, women and men crying
They just need peace,
freedom and unity

Peace, freedom and unity
can bring joy and a smile

But what can we do to have
peace, freedom and unity

One can look at the DR Congo,
Burundi, Somalia,
Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Ethiopia
and all of these other countries

How many children, women and men crying
and the other die everyday
since there is no person to help
to hear the cry of suffering

What can be done to stop this?

Someone to reach out and tell them all that
soon it will stop, soon it will end

Who can do that?

They need help and support
they need someone to wipe their tears

Who can help them?

It hurts to suffer and you got nobody to listen to you
to wipe your tears
it makes it worse when you don’t have
anyone to comfort you

Who can comfort them?

They look around
hoping someone helps
Families divided because of war
it’s sad and it hurts

Imagine if it were you

How would you feel?
