Marriage

I love you….

Even when I say I don’t

I need you…

Even when I say I don’t

I respect you…

Even when I fight, and hit and cry and throw myself at you like you just tried to end my life

I feel you

I feel you when I sleep

I close my eyes and when I wake up

I see you…

I see you every day…

Even when I say I get tired of you and I want to run away I look back and…

I see you. I see you crouching down and looking lifeless

I hurt you.

In more ways than one I have hurt you

I hurt you when I told you I hated you.

I hurt you when I put my hands on you.

I hurt you every time I say I’m tired of you

I hurt you every time I say I’m done.

But I need you…I need you more than life itself.

I need you in my life like I need your body next to me in order to fall asleep.

I’m sorry.

I’m sorry.

I’m sorry for the hurtful words

I’m sorry for the pain I’ve caused.

I love you, yes, I love you.

Do you believe me?

Or have I lost every chance you ever gave me?

I broke our trust, I broke our home…

I broke your heart.

But I need you.

I love you.

Do you still love me?
