It Isn't What You Think

All of your time is spent in just the same places
So you hear the same voices everywhere
The faces you pass by are familiar faces
And you think one of them is for you to take care

Small talks, grazed shoulders, inside jokes: just little things
That makes a spark in your heart bloom to a small flame
You think this is it, you can hear how the bell rings
How the ring will fit, how you’ll share the same surname

But no, Love is deeper than the Marianas Trench
Not as shallow as your virtual message exchange
It’s not just full of sweet, sugary words like French
But instead are small whispers that make you feel strange

It is not the small sudden jolt of happiness
It is the calm of your soul, it is eternal bliss
