Stop and Look

Stop your busy life for just one second

And take a look outside.

See the sun smiling down at you

Don't run and hide.

Stop, pause, and enjoy what life gives you,

Take a breath and look at life brand new

And when life's problems seem to catch you by surprise

Realize that even raindrops are blessings in disguise

You see, the problem with our generation today

Is that we can't stop and realize,

That in our pain and frustration,

What's in front of us is paradise.

We call people who stop their fast pace life and take it slow insane

But on the contrary, that should be our aim

We confuse real gentle stillness for severe mental illness.

No wonder our life is filled with nothing but stress!

So when problems come, meet them at door laughing and invite them in,

Give them a tour around your beautiful world and show that you can win.

For problems in life are just obstacles on the journey to greatness

So learn what you can from them and don't stress.

Just look at the beauty of the worldwide stage instead of seeing if you just got paid.

Go through life's journey with energy and happiness, don't be afraid

What I'm trying to say is stop and look at the life around you blossom

Because in the end, everything around you always will be awesome.
