Oz Boy

OZ boy

By Katie

I remember that day all too well

We got into groups for another unfortunate activity in class to do

I never thought I was going to make so many friends in this class I just thought I would be in here to pass

At a table I sat with a girl and you

You were just so curious and easily amused

You asked us what sports we played and where I called home

We had many coincidences not just a hello

Throughout the semester went and soon we became good friends

I felt like you were funny and cute but that wasn’t all there was to you

You always were there to listen and lend a hand

And I knew there was something more to us than just friends

You stand short but were incredible at sports

You made me realize to have hope

I knew Oswego wouldn’t be the same if I didn’t meet you

This Peeta look alike in my sight

I knew this OZ boy was just right

And put some light in my life
