Poems about Animals
Im sorry I'm not perfect.
With you I really cant be.
But the person that you seem to know,
isnt really me.
I hear the whispers. Feel the stares.
Like a caged animal being openly gawked at.
Releasing my inner demons,
Upon this darkening world.
The hatred flows like blood,
Hunger glistening in my eyes.
And so they scream
Sometimes in silence
But they can be heard
They are defenseless against our power
I am cautious.
No, not cautious,
Afraid.
I, who can look over a cliff
and not be scared,
