You're so selfish, entrail fish-

You're so selfish,
entrail fish-
Sucking all my energy out on a daily basis.
Leaving me weak at my peak and
soundless, groundless…
slowly sinking…

You're so selfish,
entrail fish-
Sucking all my feelings from the center of my belly.
I go about the day with you at bay,
it makes it easier to set myself apart from those soon to depart.

You're so selfish,
entrail fish-
Sucking all the eggs from my ovaries
You render me unproducing at an age of introducing.
At a time I when I should be a sponge, I am unable to lunge.

You're so selfish,
entrail fish-
leaving me without a pelvis to stand on.
I am beneath the surface,
drowning in all that you have taken from me.
