Your Voice is King

All my life,

I’ve kept silent.

Held my thoughts and opinions with strife,

Scared of the consequences.

But as I age, I’ve learned

That I cannot live in the shadows of others.

I am a human being full of love and light,
With ideas strong and passionate

And I should never be scared to go down with a fight.

Words hold the power to spark a nation,

The power to end wars, influence justice, and enforce love

Making such a change sparks the greatest sensation.

So get out of your comfort zone,
Speak up, write prose, educate yourself

You’d be surprised at the outcome,

Take the throne.
