Your Life's Story

Ride the wave

The pain will never go away

So keep rolling with this way of seeing

Being that as it is

We are sent to die

For a cause

And for justice

But who knows why

Well established is

The way we die

All for survival

Or even to make by

These dark days come too often

To my loft and choke me like

I'm Fading in my coffin

Once again

I've seen the dream,

A team of energy

Unbridled

Only foolishness does rival

This level of rebel

Unsettled, overheat on the hot street like a screeching kettle

Meant to spill, won't stand still,

To be real,

So reveal the killing fields'

Weakness we feel,

A day to day deal

About not being real

Hide for protection,

Power,

Not an hour of false glory,

That's your life's story
