Your Fire

How strange it is

When a bright soul goes dark

A fire put out by the hose of insecurity and depression

Facing this world

While feeling alone

But is there beauty in the struggle?

When you learn to overcome

And discover not just yourself, but your strength

For there will always be a hose

Set to put out your flame

But you hold the match that will restart your fire

And how you burn in the face of darkness

Shows how beautiful your soul truly is
