You See Better Without Eyes

Mon, 07/06/2015 - 04:38 -- Aldae

In the darkness you can see not a soul

see not a soul but your own

so there you are alone with familiar stranger

feeling like you're in danger

surrounded by who knows what

the mystery weighs way too much

the air's thick enough to cut

you scared to reach out and touch

scared of what you might find afraid of what you might feel

emotions runnin blind and scared senseless in ya mind

you have no clue what is real

and that's when you realize that you see better without eyes

and that you've been runnin from the truth

and now that's all that's around you

forcing you to accept everything for what it is

forcing you to SELF-REFLECT

look inside and find love and strength.

Then you reach out blindly with both hands

and your hands meet another

don't know if it's a woman's or if it's a man's

or if its black, white or rainbow

cause you can't feel color

no, hands don't see color

And the truth is now known:

you were blind and scared but you were never alone.
