You Can't Shoes Your Sole

Late night thoughts, early morning stress
I step out of the shower, but don't want to get dressed
I don't want to walk in these shoes, how do they fit me?
I like the ones that you wear, I cant help but to envy
Can we? We can, trade our positions like musical chairs
We both know the outcome, but we both do not care
In the end we'll realize we love these shoes that we hate
Its best we figure it out early rather than too late
So by the time our soles are worn out and torn
We never, ever, wish that we weren't born
Our souls match us, we could never exchange them
Just don't let that difference lead to estrangement
