The night is not more richly colored than the day, the night has no color.

The night is devoid of color,

the night is rich with thoughts.

The thoughts color the trees and the sky,

they float out of our minds and through the cracks in the windows.

The thoughts are full of questions, questions like why?

Why us? Why now? Why here?

The thoughts are full of passion, emotion, and memories;

the thoughts take our sight, they carry it far away, we don’t need it.

Our sight is what blinds us, we are fooled by our own knowledge.

In order to see, we must feel what we don’t want to.

We must face ourselves, and let our thoughts open our minds.
