Darkness.

Never ending darkness.

I close my eyes and feel the silence.

A rumbling on the horizon.
Thin and harmless claps of thunder
Grace my feeble being.

Like light kisses, the music dances on my skin,
Caressing the tip of my tongue with its words.

Lightning strikes the sky.

One.
Two.

Light.

THUD.

I am thrown
Into a thick trance, beating and
tossing me through
endless waves of emotion.

Electric pulses stimulate my fingertips
and--

and they cause my soul to shake.

Violent,
Beautiful waves thrashing in the distance
Make a chorus, a cacophony of
Crashes, kisses and words.

No whisper leaves my lips.

I'm left alone.
Like a tired husk.

My body has returned to the dust.
My memory fades into the timeline,

But

Wasn't it kind of wonderful?
