Wish You Were Home

Location

The news rang in my ears

I didn't know how to accept it

"She's brain dead"

I hear it over and over

A constant reminder

I can still see your face

Hear your voice

Promising me I'll be okay

"We're going up to say goodbye"

Words I never thought I'd hear

Not about you

My loyal friend

If I could change the world

I would bring you back

Fly high, little hawk

I'll be okay
