Wings

Wed, 09/27/2017 - 13:20 -- ymoyao

Careful words through gentle breezes,

Storms.

Stacking rocks one by one, too high to stay,

Falling.

Sharp ocean air filling lungs of paper,

Torn.

Killing a dove with the fallen rocks,

Betrayal.

A farce, lies told through clenched teeth.

A gentle wind, a caress filled with sympathy,

Reassurance.

A kiss of breath when air is gone,

Support.

Doves flying together, wing by wing,

Calm.

Truth enfolded in warm embraces,

Believing.

Love, at its best flies with the wings of a dove.
