The Wild Dream

Location

Pitter patter
pitter patter
The rain falls so softly
As I sit and drink my coffee
Thinking to myself how peaceful that day would be
Sitting there writing poetry
Sinking in my chair
Falling on my hair
The rain put me to sleep before I could even count my sheep
I woke with a drop of water falling down my cheek
I looked around me
I was now on a lake of water floating on a chair
Rain drops falling from the sky
A bang and a crack
a smack of lighting
Came down and hit right beside me
Then I had woke
To see that everything
Was just fine right beside me
